Abbotsford Community Foundation embraces new CFC logo
The Abbotsford Community Foundation is adopting CFC’s new logo as part of its own rebranding process.
One of the deliverables from the national branding process is a series of member logo options, based on CFC’s new logo. These options are designed for community foundations that are:
- New to the movement and interested in an interim logo option
- Looking for a new look, but are concerned about costs
The member logo options will be shared at the CFC Annual General Meeting during CFC Conference 2008 in Montreal.
Debbie Magson, Abbotsford CF’s Executive Director cites cost-effectiveness, fortuitous timing, as well the clear guidelines CFC has provided, as the reasons behind their decision to adapt CFC’s new logo. “It’s is a great opportunity for community foundations interested in rebranding and CFC has made every effort to help us.”
The Abbotsford Community Foundation decided to take things one step further and co-brand with CFC, meaning that CFC’s logo will always appear alongside the foundation’s own name.
Monica Patten, President and CEO of CFC is flattered by Abbotsford’s decision. “They took an exciting and novel approach to the new logo, one that we had not expected. But it’s great to know that the logo can provide a fast, low-cost, and high-quality option for members.”
