Community Foundations of Canada announces date, venue and team for the CFC 2011 Conference
OTTAWA (December 14, 2009) – The Community Foundations of Canada 2011 Conference will take place on May 12-14th at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, in the heart of one of Canada's most eclectic and dynamic cities.
"This will be a particularly exciting conference since it brings together the experience and expertise of two great Canadian cities – Vancouver and Toronto" said Monica Patten, President and CEO of Community Foundations of Canada, who also announced that Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO of the Toronto Community Foundation has been appointed the CFC 2011 Conference Chair.
Planning for the conference will be undertaken by a diverse Conference Committee, which includes representatives from across Canada and countries around the world, such as Slovakia, South Africa and Brazil.
